Things You Should Not do If You Are in these Countries:


FRANCE - Don't talk or ask anyone about money.

In France if you talk about money or ask someone about his salary or how much money they, you are considered as a vulgar. They think "Money" is not a topic to talk. A man who has a low income sometimes feels insult by these kind of talks.




CHINA - Don't give Umbrella or Clock as a gift.

In China clocks are the symbol of ''Time Running Out" which is why they are often viewed as a bad gift, especially if given to the seniors. "Umbrella" in Chinese sound like "Break Up", giving somebody an umbrella may indicate that you feel your relationship with them has fallen apart.



JAPAN - Don't leave tips.

Leaving a tip in Japan is not customary. In fact, it can be considered rude or insulting in many situations. As such good service is considered the standard and tips are viewed as unnecessary.




GERMANY - Don't congratulate on birthday before the day.

In German it is believed that saying something before it happens is not a good thing. If you wish someone a Happy Birthday in advance that implies that the person will surely survive until that birthday. It increase the probability of that person dying before the birthday.



KENYA - Don't call people by first name.

People are addressed by their academic or professional title followed by their last name. You may be able to call someone by their first only after a close personal relationship has been established.




CHILE - Don't eat with your hands.

In Chile, it is considered as a bad habit to touch your hand to your food. It is suggested to use a knife and a spoon for eating any type of meal.




ITALY - Don't order Cappuccino in restaurants in the afternoon.

Italians have a thing about drinking cappuccino after noon. It’s just not done (some say it’s because the milk and foam makes it a replacement for a meal, and all that dairy upsets the digestion). And you’ll never see an Italian ordering a cappuccino after dinner.




SINGAPORE - Don't eat in Public transport.

Some buses in Singapore don't allow you to eat in the bus. If a Old person or a child is eating, it is okay. But if a teenager do this all the passengers get offended.
